Three special exhibits are held here each year.
In spring more than 300 sets of hina dolls from the early 1600s to the
late 1900s are put on display for the Hina Matsuri exhibit. The emperor
and empress hina dolls are used to celebrate the traditional Dolls' Festival
(Hina Matsuri) held on March 3rd.
The Christmas around the World exhibit, a perennial favorite, is held in
autumn. In summer, various exhibits that children adore, such as the Toy
Vehicle exhibit, Toy Zoo exhibit, and the Toys That Make Noise exhibit
are held.
